Let’s talk about “guy time” on the big day, Shall we? Although we have the MOST GORGEOUS Suite for the Bride and her Party, the guys need a place to enjoy as well. A lot of venues only offer the groom’s party a musty dark corner of a barn or a former storage closet to hang out in. Our bridal suites were intentionally designed and custom-built for a relaxed day of getting ready for both the brides’ party and the groomsmen. We all know if takes the ladies all morning to get ready for the big day—and the guys probably ten minutes or so. We designed our Groom’s Den with the idea of a cool place to hang out with the guys and enjoy the day together. Manchester Garden’s Groom’s Den has an Aviation themed “HANGAR” and is designed to give the guys plenty of room to relax, a great place to hang out and lots of fun stuff to keep the guys occupied. The airplane-themed HANGAR is the place for the guys to play a game of pool, ping-pong, air hockey, a euche game of cards, and a big screen TV to watch the game. Bring a game console if you wish. A bar set-up, kitchenette, lounging area and an outdoor patio area gives the guys plenty of space to hang out while waiting for the ladies to get wedding-day-ready in their own beautiful suite.

Getting the Most for Your Wedding Floral Budget

The use of “transitional floral arrangements” that can be used for both the ceremony and the reception is a great way to stretch your wedding-day floral budget at Manchester Gardens Venue

Let’s face it…..most brides have a budget. Rarely does a bride have unlimited funds from which to work with. Although our venue has an Open-Vendor Policy (we welcome all of our brides to choose their own vendors for florals, catering, dj’s, rentals, etc), we encourage our brides to meet with Lauren, our on-staff floral designer. Lauren will work with you to help you get the most out of your wedding budget. Many of our fresh flowers are grown right here at our on-site nursery as well as a local flower farm, while others are sourced from a large floral wholesaler that all local florists in the area use for things we don’t grow. A great way to stretch your floral budget is to create statement pieces for the ceremony in our Wedding Barn that can be easily transported into our Reception Venue to be used in key places. Aisle-marker floral pieces can be used at the entrance of the church pew aisle and then transitioned into the reception room following the ceremony. The reception venue’s doorway entrance, photo wall backdrop or head table are popular places for these ceremony florals to be re-used, and enjoyed throughout both the ceremony and the reception.

Aisle-marker arrangements created by the floral designer at Manchester Gardens Venue are then moved to the reception venue to adorn the sweetheart table. This particular arrangement is composed of a mixture of florals Manchester Gardens Venue grew in our on-site nursery, some are from a local flower farm while about half were sourced from a wholesale florist supply company.

Originally used for the ceremony as aisle-marker arrangements, these arrangements make a lovely transition to the reception venue to add a soft gentle blooming element to the head table.

We invite you to book a tour and take a stroll through our courtyard garden…..Leading to our stunning round wedding barn! One of the best things about Manchester Gardens Venue is a wedding venue with a distinctly outdoor feel with no chance of wind or rain ruining your special day. The large courtyard garden is a beautiful place for guests to congregate before and after your wedding ceremony. Our courtyard garden creates a gorgeous garden entrance to the round wedding barn. The garden is also the perfect place to set-up the processional line to greet your guests following the ceremony before they are released to the reception room for your cocktail hour. Arbors draped in wisteria vine is the perfect backdrop for wedding portraits of the bride and groom and wedding party. Colorful plantings, beautiful lighted pillars and flowering trees and shrubs all create a stunning entrance to the round wedding barn and lends a very outdoor feel to the wedding ceremony without the worry of any inclement weather. The courtyard garden is just as impressive after the sun goes down will with romatic lighting and is a favorite place for evening photos of the bride and groom after the reception.

Introducing our Plant Package!

Not only does Manchester Gardens host weddings and parties and special occations at our beautiful and unique venue—our nursery grows plants too! And lots of them! Over 12,000 plants are propogated and grown in our landscape nursery every year—and we LOVE to share our blooming beauties with our brides and the parties we host.

Our employees choose the prettiest plants in our nursery—flowering trees, blooming annuals, lush ferns, hydrangeas, ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs to share with our guests. We choose the best looking plants in the nursery and move them into key areas in the venue to enjoy during your event. Leave them in place, or move them around to your liking for your party. After your event we will return the plants to their home back in the nursery and greenhouses. The cost of the plant package is just $250 and it is well worth the color and texture our garden plants add to your decor. This is a rental favorite among our brides!
